Agreement
These Terms form an agreement between you and Oberil LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. By creating an account, using an authenticated feature, publishing a community arrangement, opening Stripe test Checkout, or entering a future live Hand Karaoke Pro subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use those features. Test Checkout and any future subscription are also governed by the Subscription Terms.
1. Who may use the service
You must be at least 13 years old and legally permitted to use the service where you live. If you are under the age of legal majority, a parent or guardian must approve your use. You must be legally able to enter a contract and be at least 18 to enter any future live paid Pro subscription.
2. Accounts and security
Sign-in uses Google and Supabase authentication. You are responsible for activity through your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. Provide accurate information and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You may request deletion of your Hand Karaoke account from the Account panel. Deletion may pause while Stripe test or future live Checkout and subscription cleanup completes. Published community arrangements may remain available with ownership removed as described in the Privacy Notice.
3. Test mode, music, camera, and microphone features
Live paid subscriptions are not currently available. Stripe Checkout operates only in Sandbox/Test mode, makes no real charge, and may create a test Pro entitlement after a verified test event. Do not enter real payment-card details in test Checkout. Any future live subscription will require a separate live-billing release and the then-current disclosures and consent.
Hand Karaoke is an interactive musical instrument and practice service. Camera gesture recognition, microphone effects, processed-voice loop capture, and generated instrument audio run in your browser. Processed voice loops remain in volatile browser memory and are not uploaded by default. You are responsible for obtaining permission before recording, streaming, or sharing other people, protected music, or performances.
Song titles, artist references, chord information, and third-party materials may belong to their respective owners. Availability does not grant you performance, synchronization, mechanical, public-performance, recording, or distribution rights.
4. Community arrangements
You retain rights you hold in original harmonic arrangements you submit. By publishing, you grant Hand Karaoke a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, moderate, display, and distribute the arrangement as needed to operate and improve the community service.
Public submissions must be harmonic-only. Do not submit lyrics, recordings, copied melodies, personal information, URLs, unlawful material, abusive content, or material you lack permission to share. We may reject, limit, remove, anonymize, or preserve submissions and related records for safety, rights, moderation, security, or legal reasons.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not interfere with security, access controls, rate limits, billing, moderation, or service availability.
- Do not scrape, probe, reverse engineer, automate abusive traffic, impersonate others, or access another person's account.
- Do not use the service to violate law, privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or contractual rights.
- Do not upload malware or use the service to harass, exploit, or endanger anyone.
6. Service changes and availability
We may improve, restrict, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise that every song, browser, device, camera, microphone, community arrangement, or third-party integration will always be available. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create legal, security, or operational risk.
7. Intellectual property
Except for third-party materials and user submissions, Hand Karaoke's software, design, branding, campaign artwork, and service content are owned by the service operator or its licensors. These Terms grant only a limited, personal, revocable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership.
8. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Hand Karaoke is not professional music, vocal, medical, legal, licensing, or rights-clearance advice.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hand Karaoke and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, loss of recordings or data, third-party claims, or unauthorized performance or distribution. For claims that may legally be limited, total liability will not exceed the amount you paid Hand Karaoke during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Changes and governing rules
We may update these Terms prospectively. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, where required, presented for renewed acceptance. Mandatory consumer protections and the laws and courts that cannot be displaced in your place of residence continue to apply.
